MEET THE HOST Frank Edoho
Frank Edoho is a TV host, filmmaker, photographer and host of the popular Nigerian TV show, Who wants to be a Millionaire? Nigeria.
Frank studied animal science at the University of Calabar where he also doubled as a presenter at the Cross River State Broadcasting Corporation and also anchored a Breakfast Television for the Nigerian Television Authority, Channel 9, Calabar. His journey in broadcasting continued after graduation in 1998 when he got a Job at DBN Television where he worked as Presenter, Producer and News Reader and in the year 2000, he got employment at Radio Nigeria (Metro 97.6 FM). At Radio Nigeria he burgeoned his chops in the industry by undertaking the role of Announcer, News Reader and Presenter on Programmes like Cruise Control, Masculine Line and the Radio Quiz Show- Win A Million.
The talented Frank is also a voice-over artist, photographer, producer, filmmaker, cinematographer, media consultant and film colourist. He has voiced TV ads and radio jingles for various companies including Vogue Fruit Juice, First City Monument Bank, Unilever Nigeria Plc, International Bank Plc and Elizade Toyota.
Frank was however brought into the limelight in 2004 by the popular show, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Nigeria, a TV game show, where contestants are invited to the ‘hot seat’ and tested in general knowledge with a view of winning ₦10 million naira and other prizes. He hosted the show for 13 years until it was rested in 2017.
He was also unveiled as the host of an international TV show, ‘The Price Is Right in 2017’ but unfortunately, the producers couldn’t get the show off the ground.
Frank belongs to an elite group of Event compere in Nigeria and has hosted a plethora of events in Nigeria like the Merger between Standard Bank and IBTC, the Miss University Africa Beauty Pageant, Presidential ceremonies, Award Shows, Comedy Shows, Concerts, Annual General Meetings, Weddings, Corporate Product Launches and others.
Frank Edoho has been brought back, for the second time in a row, to host the widely celebrated and highly acclaimed TV game show that keeps Nigerian families glued to their seats, “WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE?” NIGERIA, BACK WITH A BANG with contestants now stand a chance to compete for a fantastic grand prize of ₦20million.
